Your Event Begins Here...
If you have an event you would like to run with the support of the PCF, you can fill out the form below. If you would like to apply for financial support for your class, project, or event, from the PCF's Neighborhood Initiative Fund please read the description of the fund below as it details how to apply for funds.
When you submit your application include a proposal with your detailing three levels of PCF support
Full financial support
Partial financial support, and
Non-financial support
After all expenses have been paid (which can be found here link), all extra income from member subscription is split 50-50 between the Reserve Fund and the Neighborhood Initiative Fund. The Reserve Fund is essentially our Rainy Day Fund, the Neighborhood Initiative Fund however is all yours. This fund will receive proposals from the community for how the funds should be used. These proposals will outline three levels of support: full financial support, partial financial support, and non-financial support.
Full financial support means that all expenses are paid for by the Neighborhood Initiative Fund. If someone wants to run an art class, this support would be purchasing all art materials, paper, pens, etc. and paying for the space needed for the class.
Partial support means that some expenses are paid, but some will be the responsibility of those involved. In this case the art class might recieve funds for some papers and pens, but the venue must be a free, and some of the art supplies will have to be purchased by attendees of the class.
Lastly non-financial support recognizes that although we support the project or event, the Paterson Community Fund will offer any support it can in the form of non-financial means. So in this example, the art class may recieve help from PCF organizers to find a location and recieve any help they may need setting up or cleaning up from PCF volunteers.
